Well here we are, 15 days until we pack up the van and head south towards Pennsylvania with our final destination being Washington, DC. There is lots going on within these remaining 15 days. Leaders are feverishly solidifying all of the reservations and working out a final itinerary for the youth and their parents. Some youth are beginning to pack while others have their minds set on upcoming scout camp, work schedules, and plain ol' summer fun.
Our departure day, July 9th will be a day of travel. July 10-13 we are scheduled to attend DCLA '09 in Washington, DC. July 14-17 will begin our mission aspect of our trip with CityGate. Here we will be assisting with the vacation bible school - our primary focus is music. Very fitting since we're primarily a music driven/talented group. Rounding out the trip we'll head north on July 18 for another long day of travel.
