Thoughtful Thursday

Hey Guys, Today we went to the park and went swimming, It was so hot out, all of us got sunburns, some more than others. It was so weird being the minority for a change, but also very cool. It was so hard to say good bye to the kids, they were so awesome and cool to hang out with. This mission trip has been so cool I can't wait till I get to go again.

Hey Hey Hey...hannah here [woah alliteration!]
This week has been an incredible week; exhausting, crazy, spontaneous, fun and AMAZING! Working with the kids was a blast and very moving. I was very sad tonight as we were about to leave the Rec Center and two of my favorite boys ran up to the van to give one last hug! They also thought they were small enough to fit in the van and come home with. Which I definatly agreed with but there may have been some legal issues with that one ;) Its hard to believe we only knew them for three days and yet such extreme levels of love were expressed by the kids towards us. I truly believe we made a huge impact on their young lives just by loving them back, by playing those hand clapping games, by twirlling the rope for double dutch [which is quite the skill by the way!], by letting them play with our hair, by hugging and giving piggy back rides and most of all by showing them in small ways the love of our Heavely Father.
Prayers for our group on our last day in the Capitol City tomorrow and our journey home would be great and also for these wonderful kids that have forever changed our lives!
