Sunday, Part 1

How beautiful was it to skype with everyone at CSBC this morning!! The kids (and leaders) really enjoyed this experience and it was a great amount of encouragement to start the day. Of course we did the usual - breakfast, metro, learning lab, lunch, downtime, seminars, dinner, big room, metro, hotel. But there was something different today than the previous days. God was with us. I mean, he's always with us, guiding us along the way, but today he was WITH us!

Today's message of the learning lab was LOVE and it resignation throughout the day. It appeared as if each optional seminar that we went was also connected to LOVE. Jamie, Katrina, Alex, Terra and Holly went to Scott Erikson (he's the resident painter of DCLA). Hannah, Nicole, and Lacey went to see Francis Chan (author of Crazy Love). Josh and Nate went to Dave Amboise (we don't know much about him but are sure he was awesome).

We've spent time praying as a group and doing our devotionals which has been wonderful group time.

The BIG ROOM tonight was AMAZING, EMOTIONAL, FANTASMIGORIAL, HUMBLING, POWERFUL, UPLIFTING, and MOVING! These are the words of the youth and the leaders alike. When we get back we will have more to say about this (perhaps in a future blog, but right now it's 12:30 am and we're headed to BED). For now enjoy these few pics from today/tonight!
